Some thing I recently started using was the Suunto T4 wrist top computer with the heart rate monitor and Bike POD. It records mileage, time, current speed, average speed, calories burned, and it is all down loaded into my computer where I can analyze the info and create a program or use the coach feature to plan my workouts. The only thing it doesn't do is keep you on your diet. When you also pair it with the GPS pod it will plot out your courses along with speeds on differnt sections. It really is an awsome tool.
