Anyone have any info on what this weather is going to do to the race? I work very close to Alafia and we got pounded today and tonight. I am quite sure Riverloop and parts of Rock Garden are going to be unrideable if we don't get some "dry time".

Not sure how much "dry time" there's going to be. Supposed to rain all week. 50% chance tomorrow or something like that. And another front coming through bringing rain later in the week. Bring your floaties.

That's the concern I have. With rain up until Friday, I don't see the trails catching a break. I was planning on going out there tomorrow afternoon if weather permits. Might bring a canoe instead.

It was pretty good today. One very large wet/mud spot on Rock garden, on smallish puddle on river loop, and an nice long clay mud slick on roller coaster. Supposed to rain all day on Thursday so will have to wait and see what the race brings.

It was actually in good shape yesterday afternoon. It was very tacky, with only two small "soft" spots. We'll see just how much rain we get today.

So if Alafia was 'tacky' on Wednesday, I'm guessing it is going to be nothing but mud after this set of storm cells rolls through. I really hope my guess is wrong. Atleast it is not supposed to rain on Fri/Sat.

The race will not be postponed.

The route may change, we'll see how it looks Friday afternoon. We'll be marking the course Friday morning.
