Death by heat stroke July 9th
« on: June 22, 2011, 09:04:30 AM »
I would like to ride all the gnar at Carter at 7am, followed by the gnar that is Boyette.  Break for lunch at Scrubway and then finally collapse on the trails of Alafia after lunch.

Who's with me?
'10 Epic 29er (shred machine)
'08 Gary Fisher Montare (urban/CX commuter)
'10 Rockhopper Comp 29er (SS soul-ridah pain cave)
Semper Fidelis
02-10 SSGT of Marines
(Most) always down for a ride in the Gainesville area

There is a name for this ride which is organized by Forrest here on the forum.  Is called the Triple Threat.  They do this same ride but in the fall time.  They ride EVERY trail at least once before moving on within the same day.  But usually Carter, Alafia, then Boyette.  Prepare to melt by the 2nd park.

I don't know which park has the running water, but it sounds like a plan.  I was making Alafia last because there's plenty of bailouts.

I may be pansying out of this ride.  After doing my homework I find that it's 2:50 drive for me to get to Carter.  Going to the Greenway instead for those interested.

I don't blame you...that is an extremely early wake up to get down here by then.  When you get down here for the Urban Crit let us know when you plan on riding Carter.
