Wow, it's usually the seat railing that fails before the post. I think the metal that attaches between the seatpost and railings are tapered and act as a splitting object when there is a significant load on the seat.

Rode bridges, rollercoaster and gatorback today. For being damp they werent that bad save for gatorback. Gatorback was real slick but I didnt see many ruts. How much rain has lithia gotten lately?

Better than the trails at Alva no matter what condition they are in...j/k, I actually like some of the trails there when they are open.... There is a Race at Alafia on Sunday so both days will be packed with people there... Boyette is OK except Ridgeline and swampthing are closed...

Alafia has a race on Sunday and pre-ride on Saturday.

Boyette trails are good with some hog damage.  Ridgeline, Sidewinder and SWAMP Thing are closed until the weekend because they are still wet and slick from Sundays downpour.  Everything else is open.

I visit one week a year from Indiana to ride these trails and am going to try Boyette today. I have been to Alafia last year and that was great. Looking forward to something new. I am a swamp member but it might be nice to have a daily trail status on the main web page, Green = Have at It, Yellow means some slick spots and be nice to the trails, and Red means closed don't make the drive. Just an idea. I also can't tell if Croom or Boyette has a fee like Alafia so I am going to just leave my SWAMP membership card in my truck window.

No fee at Boyette.
