I'll be moving to Sothern California for a job opportunity.

Just wanted to say to all you MTB riding foo's thanks for the good times and it's been a real pleasure!!

Now I'm back to doing bikepacking trips solo again...

It’s not all that short on notice. Been bubbling in the background on many fronts for years.

I've been wanting out of the flatland for several years - but economics dictated otherwise. I started the "conversation" on the left coast casually a few months ago but the process didn't come to a head and an acceptable offer made until this past Monday. Wifey and I worked the numbers over and decided that we must live without regret - GO FOR IT!

I thank you all for the well wishes. It will be hectic for a while and I hope exciting too. Once I get all the sweet routes scouted, I'll send out an invite for a weekend ride so you all can join in.
