MTB sizing vs Roadie sizing
« on: April 19, 2007, 09:23:03 AM »
I want to build a commuter bike, so I've been looking at a lot of different frames. However, everything on the road bike side of things is measured in CM, and even changing that into inches seems to give me a HUGE frame. I'm not looking for drop bars, etc., just something simple and light to put around town on.

I fit an 18-19" MTB frame, so about what does that equate to in the roadie world?
We see the world not as it is, but as we are.

probably somewhere around 54-58 cm..

best bet is to go to a LBS and sit on a couple of road bikes, for feel..
