**STOLEN** Motobecane Outcast 29er

My white Outcast 29er was stolen from the USF Campus today sometime between 8am and 4pm. Already filed a police report and unfortunately do not have the serial number... but here is a list of parts on the bike:

- Fizik Saddle, black with red stitching. (Cheap Cromo Rails)
- Thomson Setback seat post (27.2x410)
- Rusted Easton EA30 stem
- Easton Handlebars
- Ergon G-2 Grips (Fairly scratched on bar ends)
- Tektro V- Brakes
- (1) Black and (1) Silver water bottle cages
- PDW (Portland Design Works) headlight and tailight
- Banjo Brothers seat bag
- Stock Redline Wheels
- Surly 16t cog
- Scracthed Bontrager crank arms
- Rusty Shimano SPD pedals
- FSA 32t chain ring (not the one in the picture

The frame itself was pretty scratched and dinged.

I feel sick to my stomach, that bike meant a lot to me and has been through a lot with me, if you hear or see anything feel free to shoot me a PM. I keep a pretty close eye on ebay and craiglist already, I just hope the * gets caught.

That's all I can think of for now. I guess its a good thing I just got my new Outcast 29er frame in grey waiting to get built up...

Sucks!

Bike thieves are everywhere unfortunately. Was it locked?  I wouldn't leave a $50 bike w/o a good lock on it.

Locked with a cable lock. It sucks even more because the Fahgettaboudit has been on my to buy list for a while... Best believe I will be ordering one now.

Terrible news.

I went to ride home a few weeks ago and noticed someone had tried to cut thru my cable lock, and almost made it.

Now I'm using a cable lock AND a u-lock. That Fahgettaboudit looks like what i need.

Ill keep my eye open for the bike.

Thanks for lightening the mood with the pics lol

I also just ordered the *hettaboudit for when my new bike build is done (whenever all the parts start to arrive)

I'm starting to bring my bike up with me and keep it at my desk (at least until my new lock gets here)... I am trying it today and will see if anyone says anything. Most of the folks on my floor support my biking and commuting so I don't think it will be a problem. (It also adds some decoration to my otherwise pretty boring little cube)

Lucky for me I have momma dukes vintage Fuji on loan so I don't have to drive!
