12 Hours Dauset, Georgia

Be my second race ever, doing the 4 person team beginner.  Anyone road up there before, from the videos we are seeing it looks beautiful.  We'll be staying at the host hotel Friday and Saturday night if anyone else is going.

Dauset is a GREAT place to ride, having gone that far try to sneak in a day at ellijay or dalonega.

Good trail, quick downhills followed by hard brakes to make turns and climb.  Huff and Puff or Puff and Stuff, whatever it is, is a fun little black trail.  The rest is just super buff singletrack.

It was great!!!  Fun enough that we're taking our camper up to Indian Springs State Park for a few days later this week then heading up to Helen GA after that.  Although we sucked big time (lost one of our riders to a fluke knee sprain the day before) once again we learned a lot and managed to climb out of last place on our last lap ;)  Can't wait to check it out in a more leisurely setting.
