What's your choice & why for a nice Roadie Pedal under $200.

Time Iclick's,  lightest version you can afford.  Good retension, the iclick technology is very easy to get into compared to previous models, decent float.  If your knees are an issue, look into Speedplay.  These may require a different bolt pattern, avoid adapters as they increase the distance your foot it from the pedal spindle.  I have never broken a Time pedal on or off road for more than 10 years.  My $0.02

Save your $200 and use your mountain shoes.  You aren't a roadie (yet) anyway.
