mk farewell
« on: April 17, 2012, 10:17:08 AM »
sorry for the short notice but that's how I do things.
if you care, I'll be doing what's probably my last FL MTB ride this Sunday, April 22nd at the best trail system that FL has to offer - SANTOS.
we'll meet up around 8am(?) at the Landbridge TH, ride up to the Santos TH, and back down out to the Pruitt memorial and then beck to the Landbridge TH for some refreshments and socializing. It will be a long ride indeed, but that's just my style and that's how I wanna go out. if you ain't up for the whole shebang there's always the limestone road :)
i'm moving up to the big hills of NE GA at the end of this month.

Nice. We vacation just outside of Helen around the 4th of July every year. There's definitely tons of good riding up there.

Good Luck!

Thanks! Of course I'll stay around the board here, any any of your flatlanders can count on me for a guided ride or for information if you make your way up to the mountains.

Pencil me in.  I hope to make it but I hate the traffic going north I75 between I-4 and BB Downs at that time.  If I survive that i should get there a bit after 5.  Let me know the route in case I get there late.

Yes we are still GO. 8AM Landbridge trailhead.

My framebag is loaded up and thick chain lube has been applied.

The Greenway is wide and the ride is long. At least some wet riding is guaranteed.

SandPine - sorry you couldn't make it out to Croom. It was a magical ride.
