Visiting from St. Louis
« on: August 30, 2012, 05:01:45 PM »
Hello from St. Louis.  I will be in Englewood September 21 - 30.    Since this is vacation I have almost no set plans except to wake up, eat, drink and swim (not necessarily in that order).  I can't go that long without mountain biking so it needs to be added to the list, and how could I dare go to another state and not check out the local trails?  It appears everything is about 1 1/2 hours north and I was hoping for something a little closer.  I won't be flying my bike down, so will probably just be using my buddy's Wal-Mart bike :o...  I like to think I'm a good intermediate level rider and can handle myself fairly well (sans crazy stunt jumping stuff).  Is there anything closer, recommended, or a must do?  I appreciate any suggestions!

Maybe you can hook up with some of the North Port boys and ride their trails
