I am going to try Alafia tomorrow, probably around 10.  I will have a fairly new rider with me, So i won't be doing anything too crazy.  I rode Alafia today for the first time and fell in love!!  Most for the technicality of it.  Boyette is nice but trails like north creek blow it out of the water. Plus there isn't the 2-mile "warm up" beofre you get to the trails!  I can't wait to take him through the rock garden!!

def sand pine and river loop to get him aclimated then rock garden, bridges, north creek.  If that isn't enough Rabbit ears, and gator back.

If it is still closed, maybe we will do north creek again.  I fell a few times on that today darn root grabbed my front tire and stopped me dead in my tracks.  Just because you fall doesn't mean it's the end of your ride though.  I had so much fun I can't wait to go back!!!

I'll be out there sometime between 9-10.  I'm not sure if the wife's coming or not yet....

Gatorback is open now....road it the first time last weekend...awesome downhills, the rooted uphills beat me down like some kinda police brutality though ;)

I'll probably see you guys out there
Work, what's that?!  Oh, s*** I'm late!

Benji, I think I ran into  you today and probably even talked to you.  Was that you I was talking to today out there between the Rock Garden and Bridges section?  The guy from Sarasota or the other guy wearing kneew/shin pads?  You may also have been the guy I ran into at the top of the climb on Bridges.  The guy that was with another rider.  I was the one wearing AJ's jersey.  i was there from 8:30am till 10:30.  Let me know if one of those was you...  :)

can't say it was I didn't ride today till almost 1500.  though I did ride rock garden and bridges and got lost down one of the hose trails.  It's ok though it only added about 1.5 miles to my ride.  Besides the soft sand is great for your quads!!
