what's happening around Power Lines???

was riding at Mo Bridge saturday and when I exited lower Indian,saw that a huge swath of grasses,trees,etc. had been cleared all the way down the towers...any idea why so much stuff was cleared out?

That is for easier Ambulance access... you don't wanna have to wait for the off road ambulance if you get hurt on the Gnar that is Indian. This way the steet ambulance can just drive in and get you hooked up to the Morphine right away if you were to say... break a leg. :'(

The power company owns that right of way.  They keep it somewhat trimmed for their maintenance access.  They also cut back the vegetation from around Coconut Grove - you know, where the eagles are too skittish for occasional bikers but okay for the roar of a chopping bush hog?

lol@ Garry...indeed,maybe some baseball cards in our spokes will equate to the bush hogging.The gnar that makes Indian truly a double black diamond has not been jeapordized at least ;D
