I 'll prolly be going Solo as well Hans. Def not a competitive ride for me but a good opp to get back riding. Come out and support Red Trail Racing! Good fun race, can team up with up to 3 people.  My goal is to finish. No predictions other than that.  Hopefully sportin a new drive train for easy shifting on those ups and downs at Loyce Harpe. What is the course? How far  in the dirt. How far on the road, and then the dirt again?  Should be around 60 miles total?Huh? What about the Idstah? Is sweetness going to man up?  If G-ram goes will you team up? Better get those bikes race ready. 813racing proprietary chain lube specifically formulated for Floridas trails is going to be lavishly  applied to the chains! Might even soak them!

This is just my guess guys, from what I know of LHP since I ride there every week. You are probably looking at 8 miles or so of singletrack, with some dirt road thrown in, maybe 1/2-3/4 mile. From what I've heard the road section is around 35 miles, but I may be wrong on that. Most of the road should be fairly flat though. For the singletrack the hardest parts are being taken out as the summer rains have eroded those sections. They are rideable, but putting large numbers of riders on them at race pace would be bad for the trail, and the riders. Someone would get hurt badly, and I know the folks at RTR don't want that, nobody wants that.

You are riding strong so that 34/16 should be perfect  at Loyce Harpe (I hate that name, Its Carter Road dang it!!) Maybe now I can ride with you on the dirt. Pretty certain I want a cold beer after I come out of the woods  and before I hit the road.
