Ridgeline after rain
« on: April 01, 2013, 01:29:42 PM »
I was considering going to Boyette on Sunday with a few Ridgeline virgins. It's supposed to rain Friday/Saturday. What are the typical conditions after rain?

It depends on how much rain we actually get.  It is a clay based trail and clay and water make for a sketchy trail and leaves it with deep ruts if we are hit with a lot of rain.  A couple of weeks ago we had rain, then the next day Ridgeline received a lot of traffic and it was perfect!!  Had just the right amount of rain - not too much, not too little.  Use your better judgement.  If being on it is damaging it, ride it another day.
