Croom?
« on: November 04, 2013, 03:47:12 PM »
Is Croom a worthy trail to explore?  I'm looking for technical. I use Boyette for my distance rides and Alafia for my technical rides.

I love Croom. It is not uncommon to not see anyone else out there. Animals everywhere ( hunting season opened Sunday), and like Darrin said, good technical trails can be had around the 8 to 14 mile bailout trails on the Blue trail including a bmx jump area that is rather large and very fun. Karate Monkey and Lefty Looser have good tech with lots of flow and sustained downhill (for Florida). It can be sandy and bring plenty of water and a good map is usefull.

Croom really has no technical aside from the few miles mentioned above. The main appeal is miles of beautiful and sometimes grueling singletrack.
