Depends on a lot of things. How much did it rain, humidity, is the sun shining or is it cloudy, forest trail  or open, type of dirt, the clay takes the longest to dry, so there is  much to learn. If enough people are interested, I am willing to put on a seminar at the gazebo  at Alafia, $20.00 a head and  I will explain all the ins and outs  of trail riding following a storm. I will need a minimum of 20 participants and it will have to be cash only.   ::)

Just messin' with you FactorE!   ;D

I better get the show on the road. Tons of little things need to get done today. A short ride would be nice. I haven't been on the trails  because they've been too sandy. A nice ride later would be nice. iI i can go, it will be this evening and I will most likely stay local, boyette or alafia. Are you going to be at Alafia tomorow?

I think I will let the rain soak in today and ride the dry roots tomorrow. I hate wet roots!

When it rains heavy and for a long time all guesses do not count.

After rains we had during Barry I would say:

Give Wilderness Park about 2 hours of no rain and all trails except Indian and maybe Squiggy will be ok to ride. These trails need about a day to dry.  Indian has suffered a lot of damage due to wet trail riding there.

Croom needs about 35 minutes, maybe an hour just in case.  If it rains heavy at Croom for 3 days straight it takes about 2-3 hours before riding is fun again.

Boyette about 4 to 6 hours

Alafia needs a full day at least.  This trail takes the longest to dry due to clay etc.
