Before I started exercising again in March of '06, my heart rate would skyrocket. At Flatwoods one morning, I went into "anaerobic shock" I think it's called where I took my heartrate up too fast and then stopped to rest instead of slowing down. Thought I was having a heart attack, almost puked, sweated like you can't believe for about 15 minutes. On my elliptical, it would register at 130's-140's during the exercise. Now, I can't get it to go above 90's doing the same exercise. I need to adjust the exercise to get it into the "fat-burning" zone somehow, or so I've been told.
