Alan: that fork mount is archaic...those are off the shelf generic units made by someone else. They could do better for sure.
ProEdgeBiker: the fork mount is archaic with a lock mount that gets in the way and is useless since the rack can be removed easily (MEANT TO BE USED WITH CABLE LOCK THEY SELL)
mksandoz: plus it could fly off at any time. best to take it off when not in use.
ProEdgeBiker: i may just respond to all his weekneses with explanations.
ProEdgeBiker: my response: Why would you want to keep it on with no bike attached? literally takes seconds to take off. I think you're comparing this very unique rack to others that you have to leave on.
