Me and a buddy are riding Sat. we both have to be back to Sarasota early. We were thinking Alafaia. But maybe we could do half of the Epic. Is the route you described similar to the one we did the other day? If so we could bail back at the parking lot.

We should be doing the same trails.  We might just do it in reverse.  Head towards the Santos side first.  Then head back towards the Landbridge TH.  Thinking about rolling out at 9.

Just doing the east side trails will put you right at 20.
I'll be there.  But if we are going to do 50.  We need to do 25-30 on he east side.  Do you have a route in mind already?  I just want to hit it with minimal stops except for the ocasional pop my back every 15-20 miles or so.  If we are to get 30 on the East side, we have to hit just about everything.  Specially Twister on the way in and on the way back.  See you all there.  Don't forget to bring your own lunch.  50 miles with only one SAG stop is long way.

I wish I had time for the entire thing, but I don't. The east side is all I'll have time for. 2-3 weeks ago when we rode there it felt like 70 miles. With as many riders as we have, there is bound to be seperate groups that ride different speeds. Any how, I should hit the hay since I need to leave in like 3 hours so I can get there. ;D ;D ;D

Well, it's Saturday and Gregg and his Bionic Bunny Brigade are surely on thier merry way. I'm sure all the little soldiers are having a good time. :) Wish I could be there, as I have errands to do here, but at least I can get a quick 30 mile road ride in today after i finish the honey and kiddie does!  ;) :D ;D
If you don't crash occassionaly, you're not riding hard enough!!
