Trail to Trail Series - Part One
« on: August 04, 2008, 10:31:25 AM »
Congratulations to Brett (jrad) and Dave Hawkins on bagging the third place on team class.

As usual Red Trail Racing did a great job and as usual Loyce E. Harpe Park is very technical.
Free hydration and food is a bonus. (i.e. halfway on road)

Riding single speed off road is a good choice not the best but good.
Riding single speed on road is crazy but I finished it.
I am probably at the bottom of All Mountain Solo Class but I can improve.

Monday perfect to waste time reading my senseless egomaniac story telling blog ;D ;D ;D

Xavier (my 9 yr old) took fourth...1st and 2nd place went to a couple of older kids and he missed third by inches b/c he can't get gear selection through his head!   ;D

We had a great time though...I wish I knew who more of you were, I would have loved to hook up and meet some of you.  We will be there for the 3rd leg.

Congrats on finishing the race. The singlespeed on the road just doesn't cut it and as you wrote on the blog, the roadies have what they have for a reason.  Major props for finishing though. That must have been a real challenge.
