Thats not true. you can buy Cannondale, Kona, Ellsworth, Scott, Raleigh, Giant, Santa cruz, pretty much anything you would want including those you mentioned.

Though I am strong advocate of being self-reliant there is no substitute for a professional service.

But for us who still hide receipts from the wife this website helps a lot when it comes to basic bike fitting.
