Alafia Work Week
« on: May 22, 2008, 09:29:07 AM »
For those of you who don't already know. This Friday is my last day at AJ's, I will be starting a new job in a couple weeks. So for the first week I will be camping at Alafia Tuesday-Friday and maybe even thru the next week. People keep saying they would like to go during the week and do trailwork  so here's your chance. If you would like to join me one day send an email with your name and phone # to northbkr@gmail.com and let me know when you can come out. I wont have access to my computer every day so try to let me know by Monday if possible or just call Dave or Darrin at AJ's 813-685-2453 during the week and they can call me. Just give them your phone #. I'm going  to be fixing some problem areas, rerouting and hopefully adding some new stuff or at least getting it ready for the next workday. Hopefully I'll see a couple of you in the few weeks. Did I say I LOVE ROCKS.
Thanks Art
One last thing if you just want to show up to help you can, just go by or call the Ranger Station813-672-5320 they can call me.

Are you gonna be out there Saturday the 31st Art? I was gonna get out there and do some more trimming that day, unless there are some other things that need to get done.

I won't be there till Tuesday, my son's has an AAU basketball tournament on Sat and Sun. Hey Chisel, I know you have worked hard enough to have a trail named after you but I (we) don't want to build something that boring, people will be complaining like crazy and they won't Love me anymore.

I once heard a wise man say if you ride a yellow fast enough it will become red hot!  Hmmmm, that tells me if you find it boring you must be riding.....hmmm..

Simply awesome. I get done work for the summer this Tuesday. I'll be relatively free for the rest of that week and the next.

Be expecting my call ;)

Gregg and I road roller coaster today and some jackasses had torn down the tape and road the closed part of the trail....we did our best to put the tape back up so that no others would go back in there.

i wish that it would have been booby trapped....we have a fairly good idea of who did it but wouldn't dare say without solid proof.
