I believe The Harv will be setting it up and Poo Bah. Since the folks who set it up work during the week they will be looking for volunteers to help mark the route the weekend before.  It's no fun to race around with little time to do it right and check to make sure it is marked properly.  A rushed job doesn't benefit anyone.  We will be seeing conflicts in dates of events more and more as the sport continues to grow.

Bah, a little backtracking and riding in circles didn't hurt anybody, it's part of the fun! ;D

I'm in for the 50.  I've been looking forward to this event since I missed it last year.

Any dates set for Squiggy?  Going to punish myself with the Iron Squiggy this year...six-hour solo followed by a team adventure race the next day.  Guess I'm a glutton for punishment.

Major bummer. When I saw the official date change, I knew the 12 hour would be on the same date. Sure enough, Gone Riding publishes the same date for the 12 Hours of Santos.

I've been marking the Croom 50 course for 4 (?) years. Last year I believe the Ididaride was the weekend before Croom and we had no problem getting people out to mark the course.

That being said, I was planning on targeting the 12 hour as an early-season race. I'll be able to do setup the weekend before, but very likely not the weekend of, and will be very bummed to miss the ride.

Knew you would...  See my emails about this.  Being the mayor kiss arse that I am  ;D, I can help set the course the weekend before.  I can also take some time off Thursday and Friday to ensure all course markers are up and finalize last minute course details.  No need for you to miss the 12 hrs  ;D  ... Not that I was looking forward to 12 hrs of the Vortex but I did sign up for Croom 50 before realizing the date clashing...   8)
