Yesterday, at the plunge(I believe) there were some ruts at the bottom which made my front tire go straight into the plants and thank god not the tree. I guess it must have been from the rains. getting the vid from the 2nd run together and should be ready within the hour on youtube.

Yesterday, at The Plunge, is where my fiance took a header. Ouch! She hit a rut and braked hard...

Yup... I rode Boyette both Saturday and Sunday. I warned the group I was with on Sunday to watch for the ruts at the bottoms of some the bigger drops. Ya gotta aim right for the gutter!
All in all, the park was in pretty good shape. Still dry in plenty of spots despite the rains. Aside from those few spots, Ridgeline was looking good. The gravel is getting pounded in. When were you out there Pro Edge? We got started about 1:15 or 1:30.

She is great. I am proud of her bravery. She's a trooper. She split her chin about a quarter inch, and lots of bruises. She's learning.

My wife took a small spill on Pandemonium. It's an image I'm all too familiar with. Me, sitting on my top tube, hand on the saddle turned around watching. She comes up over the ridge, rolls in... except I hear a big whoosh of leaves and she doesn't come up the other side.  :o
I couldn't tell she took the wrong line, but it just sounded funny - too many leaves, too much noise. She landed on her camel back - getting quite proficient at wiping out. :D

She took the smaller drop before the plunge. she hit a rut and panicked on the front brake. Went over the bars and hit her chin on the trail. The bruising is par for the course. She bruises easily but yes just the impact on the trail was enough. She is much better today. The ego is healing quickly ;)
