Hotel over on Alachua Springs is only $40/night with HUGE beds.  I always stay there the night before for this and for the San Felasco 50.

I thought you were cured from all bad habits... Sorry but I don't walk those lines. 

If I do this race this year, my wife and kids will once again join my pit crew.  A good pit crew makes a big difference on these races.  Even if is for one or two laps since that is all my kids can stand being there.
