Trails in GA/SC?
« on: September 22, 2009, 01:05:31 PM »
Hey everyone.  Hope all are well and no injuries!  I am finished with basic training and now residing in Ft. Gordon, GA for my AIT.  I have been contemplating the idea of bringing my rig up here and hitting some trails on the weekends but I haven't found anything too interesting with the google searches I have done.  Is there something I am missing?  Does anyone know of any good single track in or around Augusta, GA?

How you doing Johnny?
Congrats on completing basic training.
Yeah, BillT's right about the FATS.  It's in North Augusta.
I wanna ride it, too....

You have the Frankenbike up there with ya?

We just rode it this weekend, Awsome, ride them all, it was a little wet this past weekend but the mixture of sand and clay it was self cleaning and didn't stick to the tires, I will be back for sure

A 'good' ride is one that you can walk away. A'great' ride is one after which you can use the bike again.

Thanks for the info.  I knew I could count on you guys.

JIM - I don't have the Frank here yet.  I wanted to make sure it was worth the hastle befoe I went and got it.  Believe it or not there is a lot of paperwork to own a bicycle when you're in the military.  LOL
