Online Motivation
« on: February 25, 2010, 08:09:17 AM »
So I have my exercise bike set up by the computer in order to burn some calories while watching Sex in the City, Queer eye for the straight guy as well as Gilmore Girls. As much as I love those shows I need something new and exciting in order to force myself to exercise. Does anyone have any recommendations for shows that come on daily and are broadcast online? Not much of a mountain bike video guy so looking for interesting or funny stuff that will keep me focused on something other than the countdown timer. 30-45 mins in length is perfect cause I bonk pretty quick  :-[

I can't concentrate on TV while riding the trainer. I prefer music, pick a pandora station and let 'er rip.

I'm extremely let down by TripleT.......I thought for sure he'd be the first to respond.

Darrin, I found a gay porn DVD case in my front yard once and I had to send the lady of the house out to throw it away. Those images are burned into my head now and Dr Phil hasn't been able to offer much help. You seem to give good advise though so maybe I just need to start off with soft-core  :D

the spinnerval DVDs are great - they make the time go by really fast and you get a better workout than if you just mindlessly pedal

Catman, just made some DVD's for a few bikeshops of the Races i recoded. its about 50+minutes with continous play. PM me your address and i'll send you a copy. You may not be a MTB Video guy but at least you can feel like you're racing right along with us while on your trainer.

Thanks for the reminder that I need to catch up with the rest of the world and get a DVD player on my computer. I tried to get a DVD to play on it a few years ago and just couldn't figure out what was wrong........ :-[

When ya bonk on the trainer it is a short walk to the couch! Trails make that alot harder to do!
