I was there from 2-4PM and overheard a bunch of people talking about the gator that was on one of the trails?  Anyone run into the fella?

I ran into a group of hikers on the backside of North Creek around 1:30 yesterday who claimed to have just seen a 10' gator on the trail. They apparently scared it away.

We saw one today on that section of North Creek right as you come around the corner before the bridge before buzzard bay.. he was on the trail and I scared him as much as he scared me.. he was about 7-8 feet long and about 400 lbs...

well i hope gators run from the smell of poo.. because if i come around a corner and there's a gator in the trail.. im going to need a cleanup on aisle 2.

No, it was printed on his side... Duh! :) I was going to try and ride over his back, but I did not have a SS Rigid 29er, so no way i could clean that!
