Pedals & Shoes
Luis:
Rule #34 Mountain bike shoes and pedals have their place: On a mountain bike.
mksandoz:
those rules are garbage. i love wearing my FOX jersey on road rides.
Singletrack Samurai:
Peb, I think ur comment was very relevant. And something every budding road cyclist should consider. My point was the forces of a Sprint would be the same effort on any bike and if that happens its probably spd pedals and worn tension springs.
It's all good.Alan, I don't even own a road bike so, take my opinions with a huge grain of salt.
And the velo minati rules are funny but I break em all the time. I wore baggies today and I have a white saddle.
Alan:
Good stuff. I am pretty comfy with the setup. Pulled 30 mph on a flat land sprint with a low rear tire, mtn shoes/pedals, and a baggy shirt paired with bibs....guess I like to live dangerously.
