ROCKgardener:
i have helped build a couple of small pump tracks...my favorite are berms and table tops.....

i love catching air as much as i love blazing trails....

post some pics when and if you build a small track.....

RiskEverything:
It would seem to me that you could do a lot of work with sandbags as the basic filler of the jump, and then only have to hard-pack the surface of the feature.

You could also build a rather light-weight wooden frame, with wooden battens about where the surface would be. Sand-bag under/around it for support, then lay the clay down between and over the battens. This should help keep erosion to a minimum and would let you know when the surface needs more covering (the battens would begin showing).

CrazyWhiteGuy:
I started working on it. Im starting off pretty small as I can get alot of speed going up the drive way. Im just using the soil right now and packing it down alot. I might go wooden though. One of the good things about sand is that it doesn't hurt to land on.
