Thanks for new trails in Wilderness Park
« on: August 20, 2007, 12:32:12 PM »
Well...don't know how new they are, but having not mtb for several was a pleasant surprise to see some new trails in there!  Came across a few new routes and accidentally happened upon the Heartbreak Ridge Trail (I think that's what it was called). I'll fess up now, but that ridge trail we used to poach on occasion. :-[  It was nice to see that it's a legal trail now. ;D  Nice and technical...enjoyed riding it!

Riding conditions out there on Sunday were a little FW still a little water flowing over the double track, but a lot less than a few weeks ago.  They're doing some burning in FW and there's a large pine that has fallen over the looks recent, but don't know?

Thanks TO ALL!!

I think that is something that happens to all of us.  If we are on a trail system all the time we do not notice the changes.  Thanks should be to all the volunteers who help and the Rangers who approved and helped.
