Alafia Trail Conditions, Sunday, August 26

Alafia Trail 8-26.

Rode North Creek and Bridges with wife; trails are dry and in good shape.

North Creek: good condition, parts of the trail are eroding from people attempting to corner to fast and tearing up the sides of the trail.
Bridges: good condition, trail looks fine, rollers are in good shape.
Shellies Loop: fair condition, first half is fine, the down hill looks great since adding water bars.... the climb on the back is tore up. there is a lot of loose dirt in there, trail looks like someone is tearing it up, maybe trying to widen the trail.

Running through the dips on Bridges, the second to last dip there is a hole opening up. First time through it wasn't bad, second time through it was almost enough to swallow a front tire. Not a big deal unless you are in the habit of jumping off the tops of the drops like I am, then the hole is right where I normally land. Will probably get rode smooth, but something to be aware of.
