I am looking at some Michelin XCR Dry2 standard tires, everything I have read about them is good. Low rolling resistance, great cornering, 480 grams per tire, and did I mention a really cool pimped out black side wall grey tread Grin BUT Stan's has the Michelins listed as not recomended due to a weaker bead. I have read where some people including XC racer extrodinaire Adam Craig are using them in this capacity. Any thoughts? Oh yeah forgot to mention these will be installed on a true UST rim, no rim strips.
