I dropped my bike off at the LBS on Monday evening to have the fork rebuilt.  It should be done tomorrow morning.  Does anyone feel that emptiness inside when your bike is somewhere else? Cry Cry  There is only an empty spot where it would usually hang in my apartment.  I want to look at its beauty.  It's not there to be looked at.  I want to clean its drivetrain.  It is not there to be cleaned.  My bike is like a security blanket.  I don't feel right without it. Cry  Is this a sickness that I only have, or do others share in my pain?  I can't type any longer.  I have to grab a tissue!!  Sniff, sniff. Cry Cry Cry

The Cure?

Get another, a hard tail, not top of the line but at least something you would not hesitate to bomb in any trail.
At least you are not naming your bike yet Grin

LOL...All of my bikes have names.  Black Betty, Sugar, Babe (goes to new owner), Caddie, and Tarma.

The easy cure is to get a couple of extra bikes  Wink

Its one of the reasons I have 3 bikes...the XC full suspension bike, the dirtjump hardtail, and the big travel freeride/dh bike...if one is the shop for one reason or another, I have 2 others to choose from.

Extra bikes works for me Garry.

Alan, Tell you need to keep it in case someone wants to ride with you that doesn't have a bike, or maybe you're going to hand it down to your kids when they grow up, or it's cheaper than buying a new one, or ( I like this one) "I can't bear to say goodbye to it, it's been so good to me".

Don't tell anyone, I named mine also. (the bike)

Unfortunately storage space and funds do not permit me to have multiple bikes.  Oh well, I guess I'll just boo hoo until mine is done today.  I'm waiting by the phone......

In that case, this is what you need fits perfectly inside a pantry.

Its rigid Shocked

I saw a blog somewhere showing a guy riding this type of bike in Alafia and Santos. I was not certain if its the same foldable bike but the frame and tire are pretty similar.

Know what you mean, especially if they clean it and you don't! I think they need to try clips, LOL!! Just kidding but it would take some big ones to ride a uni with clips though. Wink

I'm sure you could find a way to store two bikes. Most people don't think about storage in 3D terms. Be more creative.

Well, I still don't have the bike!  My LBS ordered the wrong part for the fork.  It's still gonna be there for most of this week. Cry Cry  I did borrow my old hardtail from my dad.  That was sure a rough ride that I am not used to.
