Located northwest of Brooksville, FL on Croom Rd. From US-41
take Croom Rd. approximately 7 miles till it becomes
unpaved, continue approximately 2 miles. On right there will
be parking, fire tower, and map for trail heads. If facing
board with trail maps, turn to immediate right and walk
around wooden rails marking the opening for other trails, a
wider, unmarked trail cut into the woods will bring you to
the cemetery after a 1 minute walk. From SR-50 turn on Croom
Rital Rd, which becomes Croom Rd, follow till it becomes
unpaved and trail head and parking lot will be to the left.

I always feel like someone is following me even if there isn't a cemetary.  Refer to sickness called "Singletrack Schizophrenia". Grin

I didn't even know there was a cemetary there! Wow, I knew there was some form of a spiritual connection there somehow. Let alone that close to the trailhead.

I'm not sure if it's still there but at one time there was a memorial on the side of the trail. It was a little before the clay pit area. Another rider told me it was for a rider that passed away while riding. Sad if it's true.

It's still there - after Tucker Hill parking headed South just before the red clay pits.  Skip Murphy was a friend of many who died of a massive heart attack while enjoying the sport he loved.  He was a strong rider who at times would offer words of encouragement to those struggling or of less experience on the trail.  A guy who was a little rough around the edges, but very giving from the inside.  We who knew him still observe his place on the trail as we ride that area.

it's very sad to hear things like this happen to very active and healthy people.
