Boyette Today
« on: August 16, 2008, 02:10:04 PM »
Boyette's trails were in good condition today.  A little bit of blow down, a couple vines in bad places, but generally everything looked good.  I rode North Abyss - the entrance has some bad erosion and a couple of drops are pretty wet in the bottoms but other than that nice shape.  South Abyss all the way to the memorial benches is good.  Pandemonium was in nice shape, as was the first half of Sidewinder before you hit the lower slick part.  It's been marked off there so you have to take the two-track around; Woods Trail is in nice shape all the way to the Big East Meadow.  Rain started to come down so I headed to North East and tree cover.  Had fun zooming in through there.  The exposed cable on Palmetto is slippery!  West Meadow and the Loch Nesses are in nice shape as is Gator Pit and Golf Cart.  Vista Ridge needs trimming.
