Momentum, shift your weight back and forth as you go over the roots. You will be surprised that someday that will seem like a very easy trail. Keep at it!! ;D

Hehe, yea after about 2 turns into coco, I got off my bike and walked the rest of the way. I was happy to find that it wasn't too long. But I was thinking "who but all these big logs in the middle of the trail?" but upon closer inspection I thought "oh, they're just really big roots"  ;D

I agree. My first time through (on a rigid frame bike that was much too big for me) was miserable. Now, I finish it and think to myself 'That's it?'

That trail used to be much rootier, but some folks didn't like the challenge so, over the last 3 years or so. It has become a highway. :D

With the exception of a few spots, namely the log and those three roots that run parallel to each other you can find a clean line thru most of the roots with some quick evasive manuvering. On the three parallel roots try approaching them with speed and just before the first root compress your fork, as the fork rebounds you can float over the set wwith minimal effort :)

You never last more than a minute or two, after that your so far back that you can't seee anything in front of you. So yes that was fast. Bring it on, I'll see if I can ride slow enough to stay with you for a few minutes, if I can do it without falling over from going that SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW
