He would have been better off getting hit by a truck :o. I just talked to him.....He seems to be in pain. I am going to go see him later this morning.

I got an email from him late last night, he was still in the hospital. Here is what he said was wrong:

'3 broke ribs
1 broke collar bone
1 punctured lung
1 bruised lung
nerve contusions on thigh'

HOLY CRAP!!

Wow, they were not lying when they said he hit the ground hard.  Thats a total bummer.

Wow, sounds like he hit really hard. Heal up quick man! Next time stick to crashing over logs, it's less damage!

Good Grief FACTORe! I hope your recovery is smooth and quick!

I'm glad I opted out of that section! The ambulance just might have had two of us.

dang that sucks! What hospital is he at?  That is why I don't like alafia when it is wet. It can happen at any time! Hope you heal up well and quick bro. :(
Brandon Regional.

I hope you heal fast out of this one.  I am just glad you didn't faceplant.  I think he had time to tuck and roll a bit on his shoulder or whould have been a lot worse.

Jonathon was just able to give us the thumbs up to thank you for the healing vibes.  As Treadlight pointed out, he was at the ER#29 room.  Notice the sign above his thumb.

they probably moved him to a reg room but I am not sure.

Gregg,
After you go today, let us know.  Ask him about his car.  I am sure he won't be able to drive for a while but in case someone else in his family needs it.  It's safe on my driveway but i can take it anywhere he may need it. I am proud to say that I only killed the engine once at a red light yesterday   ;).  I had not driven a stick shift in over 10 years but glad I could help in some way.  It could have been anyone of us.
