And as far as the dumb ass thing goes, I've had my bike loaded in the truck to a fork mount and started pulling out of the drive way a few times with the front wheel still hanging in the garage. I'm also know to start heading for the trails without my helmet.

get a small pump rather than co2.  you never have to worry about running out, you never have to restock cartridges and it is one less thing to go into landfills when they are used up.

No eclark, one less thing for people to just drop on the trail when they're done. I see my fair share of co2 cartridges out there.

TN1978: c02 may be a good idea when you have people waiting or you're fighting that last bit of day light but I'd make sure you have a small pump as well just in case you run out of c02. I just ordered  a c02 gismo so that I have both options.+1 eclark

First things first.  You have to pull the tire and clean it of all leftover thorns.  I am sure it is the same thing doing in your tubes.  Especially if you are only making it a 1/2 mile before they go.  If you have already done this then best of luck.  Remember, running Stan's doesn't mean you can leave your spare tube at home.  That does suck about the car though.  Was it vandals or just REALLY bad luck?

TN...I left a reply yesterday but it didnt stick....Check the inside of your tire for thorns or anything sharp. Alsowhere is the hole in the tube? If it is in the inside than you need to check for loose spokes or rim tape. You usually dont get flats that often unless something is awry.

i think the car was just someone letting air out. i aired up both tires at the store and they still have air this morning..as for the tube i'm going to pull the tire soon and find out what happened

Tommy, Did you do something to offend air in the last few weeks? it seems to be holding a grudge.. ;D  What kind of tires do you have on the bike? Maybe a tire upgrade may also be a solution... When I 1st started riding I got a few pinch flats until I figured the right psi to run to keep the tires just right for my weight. I run my tires now at 38 psi

Classic Jay.

To be technical...it was actually me that broke the window................Also, Boyette is definitely not where you want to forget your camelbak
