I love my trainer - I tried several and the were too stiff/ static and didn't have the feel of actually riding.  I then got a Kurt Kenetic Rock n roll which moves side  to side so you get a natural feeling pedal stroke.

here is the info on it

I have a Blackburn magnetic type and find that it doesn't offer enough resistance once you get your speed up.

I also have the same trainer as factore. Went with the demo unit for about half the price as the new one...still comes with their wonderful warranty. I did quite a bit of research on trainers and they seem to have the best warranty out there...that was the final deciding factor for my choice.

Don't rule a set of rollers out, they will point out your flaws like nothing else. You have to learn to be very subtle and spin perfect circles. They are not a brain dead experience like a conventional trainer, you have to stay tuned in 100% of the time :)
