yes - it will likely be exactly the same. Only concern would be hunters in Potts Preserve in October.

I really want to do this...but I'm in no shape and I'll be up in NJ.  Is this going to be an annual event?  I'd love to hit this up next year.

Please post link to a gpx file for the Santos to Croom leg if you have it.  Are you still doing that next weekend?  Let me know approx time/date.  I'll try to join if possible.

so, that would make the whole ride about 200 + miles? Karlos said the 1st leg was 100 miles... and a bear on top of that...

where's the route boys? the whole path has been done by the two sexiest riders around, let's see it!
 
check this out:
 
Skill Set needed for CFITT:
 
1.       A bike (tire) equipped to COMFORTABLY handle:
   a.       Road riding
   b.      TONS of dirt road riding
   c.       Easy singletrack
   d.      SAND
   e.      Being picked up and thrown over downed trees and fences.
2.       Food to last 10 hours or so (between resupplies).
3.       Knowledge of water sources, and/or ability to store A LOT of water
4.       Ability to not go insane riding dirt roads for 5 hours straight
5.       Ability to deal with the swarm of deerflies that will follow you through the ONF.
6.       Preparation for rain
7.       Navigation
8.       Someone to rescue you in the event that you go insane
9.       Bear fighting skillz

IMO, Only seasoned 24 hour racers will be able to complete the whole route without sleeping.
