I got hit on too much just wearing tights. I now wear Fox shorts over my pearls. I think my buttocks were too much for the ladies.  8)

I've done the last 3 tour de Felesco's and the last 6 hour at Carter with my baggies, but I guess they don't count as "multi-hour" rides. :-\

It's all about quality, if you go out with a junk liner I don't care if it is a bib or not its gonna suck. You put a quality liner inside a quality short, and you'll be just as comfortable. There isn't any reason you couldn't put a set of baggies over a set of bibs either if that's your thing. Hot women in spandex is a good thing. Any man in spandex, not so much. (Except Art of course :D )

If I am just kickin around I love my Fox baggies, I have not had the problem with the chamois that others are reporting in fact I find them very comfy. The Pearl stuff is very nice too, I have the Ultra sensor bibs that work great except when nature calls, then you will have to strip down :'( The Pearl shorts are a nice compromise if you can pull off the spandex look :o

Falling in lycra in a rock garden. Id rather be baggy cause the rock will snag the shorts not the teabags

If your teabags get snagged in a rock garden....brother your bags are hanging really really low. I have heard of seat rails and seats impaling them, but....a rock garden?

You'd think that if his hang that low, the crank would get them first.  Can you say scrambled teabag?  :o

It isn't about self-image. I tried the spandex thing, I'm more comfotable with baggies.
