no one carries them online anymore... can you tell me where to get one?

These prices are list.  Call them and they should be cheaper.

Here is what the Race Face website says "With Race Face signature styling, our RIDE XC cranks features the ‘EXI interface’ - our newest version of our external bottom bracket system delivering superior performance & excellent value."

so if I use these cranks with CC or other External BB i'll be OK, right?

Well if you are going to change your whole crankset I would do as the others suggested and get the XT's.  Chainreaction in the UK usually has good prices on them and they come with the BB.  You will need to buy a tool to install them properly.

I agree, there are fancier and lighter, but XT is the standard bearer.

As catman said, I am a Clyde (270) and hollow cranks scare me. If I can get a Chris King BB for around $100, and the Race Face cranks for $80, it is about the same price or cheaper than the XT set.

If you can break those XT crank arms I would be SHOCKED :o Things happen, not sure of what took place when Cat broke his. You would save about 1/2 a pound of rotational weight with the XT versus the Ride cranks. The XT bearings have served me well for more than 2 years and are as smooth as the day I installed them. Worst case you break them Shimano would have to honor that warranty, just don't see them breaking without some kind of impact. Hey Cat, were your XT's current generation? There are a lot of BIG dudes sporting XT cranks in our area.
