When does Boyette Open in the morning
« on: May 10, 2010, 03:05:01 PM »
I searched and could not find this info anywhere. When does Balm Boyette open in the morning for riding? Is it after sunrise or later than that? I really don't want to drive all the way out there early and have the gates be closed.

Thanks for any input

Is there an official time? I don't remember any signage. I always figured it was sun-up to sun-down. Of course that's kind of vague. I think you're definitely safe by 8.

Dawn to dusk.  Sundown in the woods is different than the official "sunrise/sunset".

Was at the public meeting tonight with the land managers.  Official response is sunrise to sunset.  Common sense would say when you can see the trail in front of you.  AND able to avoid gators.  ;-)

Common sense doesn't seem to exist anymore. Just ask the moron who keeps parking 1' from my car so he can park under the tree.

Corey, I will be out there this Saturday about 930ish, after running the Miles for Moffitt 5k race at 8am. First time out since the end of March, shoulder is better. Going to be showing a buddy the blue trails out there. Will try to catch up with you if you are going.

My bad. I didn't realize that Chumba Racing owned that spot. It won't happen again.

Common sense is telling me not to ride MTB on the weekends anymore, or move to the mountains.
