Question on shocks
« on: July 09, 2010, 11:16:46 PM »
So how do you tell if you shocks are set correctly for the trails. If I am going to boyette should they be set more spongy? I have a Fox Vanilla Rear shock and a Rock Shocks Tora 289 coil on the front.

start by following the instructions in the manual for setting the "SAG" on the shocks. try that 1st and down the road you may adjust to your own liking. Some like their suspension "Springy" and some like it more "Stiff". Once you start riding more and playing around with it you will figure out what is best for you.

Fork - the + will add resistance, and - will make it more springy...
