Trail Vandals
« on: December 07, 2010, 07:15:12 PM »
Heads up folks while you are riding the trails at Balm-Boyette.  Someone, or someones, have built a rock wall in the bottom of the drop that is just before you get to East Meadow from the Woods Trail.  If a rider would have dropped into this as usual, expecting to need a little speed to get up the other side, it would have made for an injurious crash!

Until the miscreants are caught and reported be wary of dropping into such a section of Boyette trails that you haven't first scouted out as safe.

This was obviously done with the intent to injure somebody.

Trail vandalism is illegal and dangerous.  If you see or know of anyone doing this call the Hillsborough County Sheriffs Office to report it with as much information as you can; hopefully description of the person, their bike, time of day, and or vehicle with tag.

Thanks and be safe.
