TOUGH is a totally relative term.
For example, I rode to work and back on Tuesday 100 plus miles. It wasnt the toughest thing I have done but to some an impossible feat.
Any race where you go out hard for a small amount of time is going to be tough. Be it xc, bmx, cx or MTB.
Anaeorobic efforts are by far some of the hardest things to do for anyone.
BUT, is it the TOUGHEST thing to do???
That is the question.
How can you truly determine who is toughest? what do you use to measure such a thing? Is it the terrain? The length of the challenge?
In my opinion its impossible to tell really. Cause Tough is a relative term.
Now starting a post saying who is the Toughest cyclist in Florida does get peoples attention?
Is the toughest cyclist the guy who wins a cx race that last less than an hour?
Or is it a guy who rides 300 mostly off road miles in 30 hours?
does that even make them tough or does it just make them fast?
Maybe if the post would of been titled who is the "FASTEST" cyclist in Florida there would be less to discuss... LMAO.
Latte is a good guy though and I totally support CX racing, in fact I plan on attempting at some point in my life those endurance CX races.
