Alafia Trail Report - (submitted by Julianne to eGroups)
« on: February 28, 2012, 10:58:57 AM »

2/26/12 rode 3 hours
Trails Ridden:  North Creek incl Buzzard, River Loop, Bridges incl Shelley's, Rock Garden incl Frank's/OAF/OAOAF, Sand Pine, Rabbit Ears, Rollercoaster incl options, Moonscape incl all options.
Trails are in primo shape!!! All are well trimmed.  (Thank you Marty & Alice for River Loop) Sand Pine is a little sandy, but fun nonetheless.  There are a couple things to be aware of:  Frank's loop, at bottom of u-turn, a handy tree on right hand side has been snapped in half, leaving a very pokey/piercing object.  Hog damage at bottom of big drop on Doom leaves runout a little sketchy, although it's getting better with each rider.  If you're riding Alafia this week, and enjoy Frank's loop, please bring a saw to cut that gut-piercer.
