I became insane with long intervals of horrible sanity.

I once made a cardboard boat that held two people ( with just a knife and duct tape) for a while, made it 1/2 way across the full sized pool for a race, before it sank. :'(

I built a cardboard boat for two and we won first place in a 20 "boat" race across the Hillsborough River and back. (near Hills Ave)

Rules were: no glue, paint or other such helpful things.  For a school project. I used heavy duty inner carpet rolls (made from cardboard) with wax paper over the ends held on with rubber bands.  Made a two layer raft out of it.  Weird experience.
